Documented commercial file review for a Canadian financial institution

For financial institutions

A documented second review for difficult commercial credit files

For Canadian credit and special-accounts teams, the useful starting point is a documented review of authority, security, jurisdiction, evidence quality, and the decision the institution needs to make next—not a broad recovery promise.

01

Files this pathway is designed to review

Aged commercial accounts, returned agency files, guarantor or security questions, stale location data, judgment-sensitive matters, and files requiring a documented hold, escalation, referral, or closure decision.

02

What the CRE asks for

A concise authority record, account and balance history, agreements, notices, dispute history, prior activity, known security, judgment status, insolvency indicators, and the institution’s current decision objective.

03

What the review should produce

A clearer evidence request, information-refresh plan, specialist referral, proportionate recovery lane, or documented reason to pause or close. The CRE does not promise recovery or replace legal advice.

Confidential fit review

Bring the file that standard workflows could not move.
